The board game The Settlers of Catan has been recently discovered in the United States and is currently near the top of the Amazon best-selling games.

This game was invented in Germany by Klaus Teuber in 1995 and soon won the game of the year and was followed by expansions and extensions to allow players to ever play scenarios.

The purpose of this strategy board game for 3 to 4 players is to win 10 "points of victory through building settlements and cities or the longest road or largest army. Each round consists of a roll of the dice, collection resources by people with homes on a tile resources, trade resources and construction. The 4th edition board game is composed of 19 hex tiles that designate each resource wool, brick, wood, grain or ore and water Harbor and pieces that fit together and form the perimeter of the board of directors. Regulations, cities and roads are purchased with cards of resources that are hidden from other players and kept in the hands of players during the match.
