What is a Migraine?
Migraines are much more than "just" a sever headache. The textbooks describe migraine as a "hemi-cranial (half head) so it is not entirely a head pain.
Symptoms
1) Typical, but not always, begins with a "sparkly" loss of vision which bordered the edges of vision.
2) Then you get serious pain in half of the head
3) You may get nausea and the pain is so severe you can not function at all
4) The problem may take a few hours and at worst a few days
SOLUTIONS
Lie in the darkened room and try to relax
Painkillers
Magnetic necklace although this can best be used preventively see C) below
Headband with magnets
Neck Support and spot magnets cause depending see below
CAUSES
The main triggers for Migraine seems to
A) Body chemistry-Hormonal
B) Stress and stress-emotional
C) Physical Muscular disruption of the blood supply to the head
D) Food intolerance-see following conclusions
DESCRIPTION
A) Body chemistry, this Migraines usually in a pattern related to regular time intervals. For women this is often associated with the menstrual cycle
SOLUTIONS
Keep a diary to identify the cycle or pattern and make the "warning" signs on the original drawing or when an attack —
Wear a magnetic necklace
Wear a headband Magnetic
Lie down and try to relax in a dark room
Painkillers
DESCRIPTION
B) Stress and tension, emotional trauma that start in the brains, which leads to migraines. The mechanism may be that stress causes tightening of muscles see C) below
SOLUTIONS
Try to learn techniques for stress reduction, ie Yoga Tai Chi Mediation
Wear a magnetic neck at night when you tense
At first sign of the tightening of muscles apply Ferrite magnets Spot 800 S-1 and S-2 in the tight spaces
DESCRIPTION
C) Physical, in trigger this kind you often get a tightening of the muscular structure in the upper back. There is an area between the back and shoulder blades where the muscles get very tight and this extends to the neck. This seems to reduce the blood supply to the head and this in turn triggers the migraine. The decrease may be due to stress, but may also result from excessive use of muscles.
SOLUTIONS
At the first sign of the tightening of muscles apply Ferrite magnets Spot 800 S-1 and S-2 in the tight spaces
Practice some form of relaxation
Aromatherapy
Magnetic necklace
If the migraine is to keep and to reduce late methods-in Lie darken room
Take painkillers
Headband with magnets
CONCLUSIONS
Migraines are very debilitating and can ruin the lives of the victims, even those who suffer rarely find that the fear of an attack caused problems. Try to keep a record and record establish a pattern to see if the pattern is related to a particular activity or a certain food. Some people have migraine as a reaction to certain foods. An often quoted is chocolate, but other food intolerances are triggers. The Migraine may not occur for some time after consuming the offending food, because the time to digest and the chemicals you may be intolerant to separate takes. It may seem laborious to a diary of what you eat when you eat and your activities, but if you can avoid that an attack was all worth keeping. The solutions above apply when the trigger is the migraine began.
