It was a wet summer. It's great to drive on the outside but when it rains, it must have an alternative.

Here are five activities that are inside BETTER.

1. Weightlifting. When it pours. hit the weights. Some people like to lift outside on their terrace or in a garage open, but a good majority weight train at home or commercial gym. Weightlifting is great for everything from building muscle to fat burning. This is double the fun with the friend you had planned to bike with!

2. Exercise videos. Fitness DVDs have come a long way since the days of leggings on VHS. Now there are videos mandated by the Marines, like the hardcore P90X fitness variations of dance like Hip Hop Abs and a wide variety of Yoga and Pilates lessons.

3. Home Cardio Equipment. Many people prefer running, cycling, walking and rowing on the outside but when time does not permit, then at home equipment has its advantages. If I did not have these machines, I through many excuses not to go outside every morning contraction too, warmth and of course when it rains.

4. Hit creating a special class. Classes like belly dancing, kickboxing and group training personal alternatives are great exercise to participate and stay dry. Many times, if you are new studio they will try a class free.

5. Try a new activity such as climbing, martial arts and ballroom dancing. All These activities have a no obligation Course Intro, so you can get instructions and feel. Who knows, a rainy day could lead to the experience something new until the end of May you love and take all the way!

Exercise is not limited to running, biking and rollerblading. See how you can be creative on a rainy day and you may be surprised when you find a new activity that motivates you. You can also find indoor pool, volleyball, tennis and basketball, if you do not want to give up your sport because of a rainy day!

Staying fit any rainy day!
