Companies seeking to offer flexibility and convenience to their customers, offering a wider range of payment options. Accept checks, credit cards, debit cards and even ACH payments has increased the potential clientele of many companies. If you want to increase your base customers by adding ACH payment acceptance, then you have several different processors to choose ACH. ACH processor, it is possible for you to receive payments from your customers for products and services via ACH or automated clearing house. An ACH payment allows money to be transferred safely from your bank account to your customer instantly.

There are many ACH processors out there, but not all processors are equal. ACH processor provides a way to communicate with the Federal Reserve and electronic payments network. Your CPU passes your request to transfer The Fed, which then routes the appropriate bank. That Bank then initiates a transfer of funds from the bank account of your customer, back through the Fed and in your account bank. Without the ACH processor, none of this would be possible. Various ACH processors may offer different rates based on the banking relationships they have, it is important to shop around.

Many processors ICC may also offer other types of payment processing as well. Acceptance credit cards and debit cards are payment service very common for any processor to provide. Although the network over which an ACH payment process is different equipment is sometimes the same as that used for processing credit cards and the timing is similar. The big difference is that all transactions by credit card must pass through what is called the exchange, which is essentially being made with VISA and MasterCard. As transactions are received by associations (VISA and MasterCard), they are then forwarded to the issuing bank of the cardholder. ACH payments are realized entirely outside the exchange.

Shopping for ACH processors is a very important step to take when deciding how your company will receive funds from your customers. You need a processor that has a reliable, solid customer support, and a good reputation for safety information. All ACH transactions involve personal financial information and should therefore be closely monitored. You want and need a processor that can keep your information and your customers' information very secure.
