Fitness Gadgets are freakin 'everywhere. TV, magazines, Informercial, interest … jeez. And most are very expensive. And most also really suck. In Instead of spending hundreds (or thousands!) dollars, spend a little money, get a decent pair of dumbbells, and get your cardio workout with them!

You can get workout super intense cardio with weights (ID) by simply doing a few sets of Clean & Press, snatches, squats, rows, or others. Make them with one arm at a time, and you'll actually double the work you do (especially with the full body exercises such as cleaning and for the press and the snatch). Or, you can really rise the workload by making complex – a series of several exercises performed back to back without rest. The best thing about comics, however, is how they are cheap!

Of course, you can get real expensive, but it is not necessary. For just a little money, you can have your own comics, and get an awesome workout virtually anywhere you want. The first place where you can search for comics would be in ads classified, garage sales or craigslist. People are always trying to get rid of the old fitness equipment, and you'll likely be able to find one for almost nothing – maybe even for free.

Then, you can visit sports stores. You must start with places like Play It Again Sports! that sell used equipment, but if this does not work, you can visit other places too. Many nice places to sell or weighting DBS fixed or adjustable ones that you can add / subtract weights to and from. Go with the latter option.

The DBS is really fixed nice, but are generally much more expensive. And if nothing else, you spend more because you have to buy both overall weight. If you use Adjustable DBs, you can buy 20 sheets of ten books and a few smaller plates (5S, 2.5s, etc.) and have enough weight to build two 100-pound DBs. This will be more weight than 95% of the population will ever need. Another disadvantage of buying DBs fixed weight is that it takes up a larger room. Stick with Adjustable DBs – not only are they cheaper, but they are much easier to store, too.
