Walk Away

From time to time I am amazed by the number of people running about in the wilderness of America. We are a proud people, standing firm in our convictions on equality and moral fiber. Yet many of us cringe at the thought of opening a window when the room is warm and draft free. What awaits us? A mystery stalker or rapist. A jewel thief or a murderer. Can not we just sleep in peace or perhaps home at the foot of starting work with the major fear not open our door without someone being right behind us. If we think hard about negative things in life that we forget the thoughts of Nice to be free of our problems.

Sitting on the steps, watching the people before home, provides a tension that is very unpleasant. Who is walking in these shoes will be home safe and do not want. Who is the innocent victim and who is guilty? The faces are all alike, but the shoes are all different. Poli, scratches, worn, new, laced loafers, all styles tell individual personalities, more than a simple face can. It is easier to watch the sidewalk. So much to think, since I'm sitting here in outside. I am a target, I guess. A small but growing number of victims in this great country who want to just sit outside without any interference to be interviewed on "want to buy some of my" trash "? No thank you … I just want to sit here and think to a more pleasant life. Unable to run inside and hide all the time. I will not be a prisoner in my own house. I demand to be "free" in this country. Free from all the money mongers wanting my wallet and soul. What will it be? Freedom or Prisoner? So many thoughts in just a few minutes to sit on the cement steps. Iron railings to my eyes as I watch.

How many people are sitting on steps, as I am thinking the same thoughts? How many are in search of "perfect shoe 'to climb the stairs before us at the same door where I'll soon open and walk to my meager home?

I am always looking Rainbow bright that, with this pot of gold at the end. Some pots are bigger than others, I suppose, as I have never met mine, I'll never know. I'm sitting here thinking only about how my shoes from all the others that the same sidewalk, walk with me.

I need to go in bed. I need to get my mind in another context. In a sense that this framework will take me away from all this crime.

I take the wrought iron banister and pull me up. I turned to the streets and I see fewer and fewer people that night approaches and I answer to most of my questions. Nightfall sends shoes inside. We do not really like our shoes moving in the darkness. Think I'll get mine in!
