How can you avoid the neck of a taekwondo uniform fading.?

Well, sometimes, the V-neck black in Taekwondo uniform (Dobok) disappears and is itself is brown or gray, sometimes, is there any way to prevent this from happening. Given that I do not want someone to say "no wash" since it is unhygenic. Thanks in advance.

Wash in cold water with mild detergent. In my 12 years of Tae Kwon Do, I never fading. Also, never, never wash a belt. Become weak and brittle and faded. I know you did not mention it, but I wanted to make sure :-)
