Ultimate Martial

If you have taken training courses for self defense, then you probably know that there is a difference between the strategies you've learned and practiced classroom and a real fight or Self Defense situation. There is also a great difference between the staged battles you see in movies and what actually happens on if you are attacked. Take a look at your assumptions before you're caught in the position of having to defend against an attacker using tactics unrealistic. There are three main differences between the types of battles you will engage in martial arts for instructions and you're likely to find a situation where you really defend yourself against an attacker.
In both films and martial arts, fights are pre-set stage. This is an essential difference between what you see and what might happen in a scenario of real life. The movements are memorized step by step, with no room for change or making decisions under pressure. If all of your training has been the memorization of specific movements, then you have not developed the critical skills necessary to fight back when you are actually attacked. Your attacker will not move in ways that are easily predictable, even if you have a martial arts training. A self-defense will be chaotic and stressful and saved your movements will not fit in your response in this situation.
Self defense training tends to keep the trainees. In a combat training, your abuser will not come to you with a knife or a gun, and may not even be coming at you full force. In a situation real, you can expect your assailant to back off for any reason, even if you've already given your wallet and phone cell and are on the ground. You must use everything he has to fight back if you want to escape a dangerous situation.
Pre-staging battles are emotionally barren. You know what to expect and that the fight is coming. Even if you're nervous before a competition of art martial, it can never compare the nerves, you'll face if you are ever attacked. The reality is that you never have time to advance to prepare before you attacked. Your heart is racing and you may panic, forgetting everything you learned. An attack is one of the most emotional situations you may never find yourself in.
Although training of self defense could not realistically reproduce a situation of legitimate defense this does not mean that training is not valid. When you are attacked, confidence is key. If you plan to train martial arts as part of your strategy for personal defense, make sure it focuses on scenarios of real life, not step by step moves. Alongside the efforts of martial arts, you should always be a secondary plan to protect you. Have pepper spray or a taser, for example. Remember not that the villain will often armed, and your martial arts moves will be no match for its preparation. If you really want to survive an attack on life real martial arts training in May alone will not suffice.
