What are the benefits of taking protein supplements after weight training?
I make a lot of weight training as a whole fitness regime. However, I noticed a lot of people take protein drinks after a workout. I would like know the advantages, disadvantages and long-term effects of these supplements.
Why take protein after weight training? After training with weights your muscles tear say. (often inflamed) After the break heals. But if you take protein after a workout, your body will take the protein and built more muscle where the muscle tore. Advantages drinking protein shake will help provide your body with protein. Eat protein is always the best option, but eating too much meat or other protein source may add too many calories. Protein drink can be more nimble, depends on one who drinks. So if you want to build more muscle then take a protein shake within an hour of weight training. disadvantage for kids who are very muscular and have to keep drinking protein to maintain its volume. Are you sure you're drinking right too. Some have a lot calories! Like Muscle Milk! But these are for people who want to gain weight and muscle.
