Fix golf slice is a thought on the minds of many amateur golfers. Studies show over 80% of all amateur golfers slice the ball. There had more training aids, exercises and tips to fix the golf slice that I can not even begin to count.

If you hit a golf slice, have you taken lessons, bought training aid, and made several years only to hit another slice? What a frustrating situation! Do you understand what's causing your golf slice?

A golf slice is caused by the clubface coming across the ball outside the target line, creating side-spin on the ball. At first glance this may seem like a mechanical problem. And it is … but if you dig a little further, you find it is "a physical problem.

You see … Your body dictates your ability to swing effectively. If your body has' physical limitations, your Swing is not mechanically sound and swing faults will appear.

In the golf swing there are many compensations for lack of proper mechanics. If you can not make a turn 90 degrees on the shoulder of the backswing, you'll do whatever it takes to feel like you made a full turn.

A good example of this would be to rotate your hips beyond the desired 45 degrees to allow your body to make a start rear track. Here you are stealing power. You have no torque built into your kernel to release the ball at impact.

The same thing with a slice of golf.

A golf slice is caused by the upper body getting ahead of the lower body, creating an "over-the-move" top, which in turn causes your club face Slashing through the ball and creating side-spin. Here is the banana ball!

Your first movement will take a lesson to fix this. If this does not work, you can buy a training aid. If this does not work, you can buy an "offset" driver to help eliminate your golf slice.

Now, the real answer! Take a break on your lessons. Do not buy more aid training. And keep your normal driver in your bag.

You need to work on your flexibility rotation basis to be able to open the downswing with your lower body first, to avoid the upper body getting ahead of it. It's that simple. Minute where you can separate the initial movement of the upper and lower body on the down … you will see that golf slice improve dramatically.
