Thick Yoga
Many people get return trip to Nepal during the monsoon. I think the monsoon is one of the very best times to travel to Nepal, if you want to see true culture, fashion and beauty of life in the Himalayas. Granted you probably will not see the coveted snow peaks of the Himalayas, but the reward to have a little wet and muddy worthwhile. Just remember to pack your umbrella, a touch of good humor me from the lower pay and your camera to capture the heart and soul of Nepal.
The monsoon is itself much to the vitality of urban and rural Nepal. Life here revolves around the arrival and departure from the annual deluge of three months. The winter crop is played and villagers sitting around spinning wool, winnowing of wheat, maize and millet, mixing Raska and Chang. The dust-laden air crashes and pollution and temperature rises. The harsh sun dries crops spring wheat and there is nothing left to do but prepare the field and wait for rain.
The side bleak and barren country grinds in the heat May, the streets of Kathmandu lifting of garbage and smell, runoff from rivers, taps in many villages are dry and the trees and plants wither with the people. The eyes are the sky areas to shore cloud on the horizon, and finally provides a fast wind from the samples first gentle rain on the ground. Rice, the blood of life in Nepal depends on the arrival of heavy rains and get planting rights is essential to the success of the harvest. More clouds build on the horizon and more showers fall. Then, as sudden as a thunderclap in a blue sky that seems to really open the heavens and the life giving rains of the monsoon arrives.
While fleeing tourists and residents of Kathmandu retirement in their homes, villages come alive with activity. The land is also life, rivers carve never change course, the cast land and moving around to new landscapes and plant life suddenly a million shades of vibrant green. The rain has a thousand faces, soft and adherent Hard, violent, enjoyable, Lulling, cold, hot … rain rain rain, the gentle flow of life on earth in the Himalayas!
White Water Rafting
The rains swell the river of Nepal into raging torrents and those who seek the adrenaline so it's certainly time for a load of fun splashy big. River are raftable monsoon are Trushili, Sunkoshi and Seti, but be sure to reserve with a safe society and worthy of trust.
Village Treks
While most of the Himalayas may be taboo in this time of year due to weather unpredictable, landslides and snow, some trekking around the village of Pokhara, Kathmandu and Dhulikhel are ideal for those wishing to discover the side Real rural Nepal.
