Does physiotherapy really help knee pain?

I have much pain in my knees and my doctor prescribed physical therapy, will it really help?

As a PT, I have treated many patients 'sidelined' by the knee pain. It all depends on what specifically is in your knee (joint top and below could also be a contributing factor). A physiotherapist will examine you thoroughly and establishing an exercise program / system to help you in your recovery and provide manual therapy if indicated. PT is a great option for you to neuromusculoskeletal problem.
