Muay Thai is a Thai mixed martial art form. It has many fighting techniques. While using Muay Thai techniques, also known as "Mae Mai Muay Thai, "fighters use the entire body including fists, elbows, shins, feet and knees.

The Muay Thai Basic training techniques include punch techniques (jab, straight right / cross, hook and uppercut), elbow techniques (horizontal, diagonal upwards, downwards, diagonal uppercut, downward, backward-spinning and flying) and techniques of kicks (kick push, kick, circular, etc.). The following are some special techniques Muay Thai:

The melee

This technique is used exclusively in Muay Thai fights. If the fight against combatant apply this technique by holding the opponent either around the neck and head or around the body. It is known as Thai Clinch.

For apply the clinch, the fighter must keep his opponent either around the neck and head or around the body. The fighting has also pressing his forearm against the clavicle of his opponent while his hands are around the head of the latter rather than his neck.

Clinching a common technique used in battle Muay Thai is to exploit only the head down while giving a blow. The fighter can also throw the opponent to his left where the latter uses a knee from the right. It can cause the opponent to lose his balance.
The Kru

It is a difficult technique. A new fighter takes a lot of training and work hard to learn this technique. The technique is provided by the Krue fighter or Thai boxing. The trainer makes the job of fighting hard and learn the technique. It is a tradition for hunters to express his respect to his coach through a ritual called Wai Kru.

There are certain elements that are part of the training techniques of Muay Thai. These include: —

Running AA • A student must function 18 km running per day (about 12 km in the first half and about 6 km in the second half).

 • Stretching – The student must also do the stretch for about 20-30 minutes. It improves elasticity and reduces the muscle stretch reflex.

 • The Shadow-boxing training includes approximately 20 minutes of shadow boxing. Shadow Boxing is usually performed in front of a mirror.

Training of Muay Thai is lot of hard work. To become a good young fighter had to undergo a severe test of physical and mental. It takes pure dedication, commitment and 'Never-Say-IDEA "attitude that transforms a student himself a fighter in his Muay Thai.
