The inevitable choice you make between either coffee or tea is one that mostly just falls to personal preference. Ignoring the obviousness of this, there are a variety of factors that a man or woman trying to objectively decide between the two beverages might be better off for keeping in mind. While hot tea is largely already considered the health drink, coffee very well may, surprisingly enough, have some health benefits also. In fact, increasing amounts of research are demonstrating hot coffee may have health effects such as reduced likelihood of coming down with diabetes.
Reduced stroke risk in females is just one purported benefit that comes with the drinking of coffee. This may be a huge shock to many though: drinking coffee is not that great of a cure to the problem of fatigue. It is now a widely documented fact that coffee’s stimulating effects in the minds of the addicted consumers is most certainly nothing more than decreasing the amount of fatigue being experienced from withdrawal from the caffeine itself. This is likely true of most addictive drugs, of which coffee and any caffeine containing beverage is one of.
Indeed, coffee is one of the most frequently consumed addictive drugs there is. The obviousness of its habituating capacity is readily apparent to anyone who has observed any frequent drinker for any reasonable duration of time. If a person has been imbibing a lot of the drug known as caffeine whether by means of tea or coffee, but particularly coffee, and suddenly quits… one thing is for certain: they’ve got a heck of a migraine in store for them! They may indeed find themselves to be a tad bit unusually grumpy as well.
Coffee has more caffeine on a cup-by-cup basis than any type of tea. This is a reason as to why many health conscious individuals perhaps prefer to drink tea instead of . It has much less potential for habituation. Tea also has a wider variety of various anti-oxidants, which is known to be beneficial for the health. Though, it is been scientifically demonstrated that the beverage known as coffee does in fact contain within it antioxidants all of its own! These antioxidants found within gourmet roasted coffee are produced by what is known as the “Maillard reaction”, which is a chemical reaction that happens during the process of roasting the coffee beans.
Tea has one last benefit over dark brew coffee, and that’s that it does not stain and leave spots on the teeth, tainting your smile, as much as imbibing coffee does. Combined with the fact that it is less addictive, that also means you are less likely to consume it with as much consistency than gourmet coffee and thus stain your teeth even less. The choice of whether to drink gourmet coffee or tea, or neither of which is a personal decision but do remember that whatever you select both tea and coffee do show some evidence of being good for you.
