Massage Tables – Shiatsu release cables?

I am a massage therapy student. What are used for shiatsu release cables on my portable massage table? How do I use them? I thought the cables were to stabilize at the table and save it from collapse.

The cable, you can collapse the legs, to put it on the floor. Traditional shiatsu mat made or based on futons on the floor. So, if you choose, shiatsu, can your table for the traditional To massage (on legs) or on the floor laid. Hope that helps.
