Billiards is a sport or is it just a hobby? Some people say that billiards is just a hobby fun. You can have a pool table in your house and you and your friends can play for fun and lazy and / or you may have a bet on the game, too. Considering that football and basketball, there is no paris (at least it is supposed to be illegal, when the Celtics got away with so much). Some people go to pool halls and billiards with friends and other people he meets. There is no actual physical activity in the pool, sweat, or real and / or blood is found in other sports such as football, basketball, baseball and hockey. Young and old can go play pool or billiards. It is more difficult to go play baseball or football because you need to get a team. With pool or billiards, you can go by yourself and walk and play or shoot around. With sports, you can not do something like that. So on one hand, I see how the pool is a recreational fun.

On the other hand, the billiard as a sport makes sense to me, too. The reason is because you can play pool professional where you have games and play against someone else. You also have different types of matches like trick-shot matches. If you've ever watched ESPN, they show playing pool all the time, like 8-ball competition, trick shot competition and other competitions too. So for me, if it is broadcast on ESPN, so it must be a sport because ESPN is the truth and there is no other channel you need to look.
