Inelegant comfortable closed shoes to work?

I need closed-toe shoes I can wear to work. I work in a hospital, so do a lot of walking and I'm standing all day. I'd like rubber soles or something with good support. But also something nicer than tennis shoes because I dress a little and wear pants / khakis / black trousers. Anyone have any idea what brand I should look? Everything I've seen is ugly and somewhat my grandmother to wear. Something pretty, but functional and support!
