What is the best tai chi style for a young guy to learn?

I want to do some tai chi for balance and relaxation purposes, but also to learn basic martial art techniques. (Also for exercise, but that kind of goes with the territory I guess). I take some of the styles are a bit more suitable for older people, but I've heard that The Chen style is good to learn as it moves faster pace. Anyone have any input on this?
