What is the effect of heat on polymers in rubber bands?

In a physics research I am doing an experiment with bands elastic and weights. I'm trying to find the factors that need to control. I was wondering if anyone knew the effect of heat or cold in the example, the polymers are elastic rubber bands more or less elastic when the room is hot? etc. I know that the polymers are aligned when you stretch a band rubber, but that's about it. Thanks:)

Natural rubber becomes a solid when frozen with liquid nitrogen. This suggests that the bands of "glue" become less elastic if they are significantly cool! However, I can not give specifics. I suggest you conduct a specific experiment to plot the elasticity versus temperature of the sample their 'rubber' the band. The data obtained from this type of experiment that allow you to calibrate the main event.
