Is it ok to freeze a little water in the stainless steel water bottle?

So I'm freezing my water in my stainless steel water, not ice cubes since botttle fit within the hole and then I just get regular filtered water and pour it in "until it is full. I just want to know if it ok to because my mother said it was not.

He was complete. the frozen water will melt with the temperature of the water that you fill it with. It will not do everything the stainless-bc is STAINLESS STEEL. It doesn't rust or deframe. so you'll be fine
