Will work running on a stationary bike with?

I was with the treadmill in my apt complex and come to find out it works no more, and they are waiting to replace. Well, I can not wait to workout. I need serious training in my company. I can not afford to have someone to gym to go, so I'm wondering if I can have the same effect you get from using a stationary bike until I can get back to a treadmill?

Cycling will help keep your aerobic capacity and actively legs while waiting to come back on the treadmill, but is not really a substitute for operating, since it uses the leg muscles differently. It can be a great cross-training though. If you're just doing it for fitness, it will not matter that much, but if you think it is the professional running, then running to do is of course the best.
