Wow, today's economic deal in the world has certainly been the surf industry think twice, especially the end clothing of the biz. But in a strange way, we, or at least me and some friends surfboard shaper I usually do not appear to have seen a decline in terms in real cases.

At a time when the machine looked like surfboards that could threaten the shaper, more and more People want hands-on custom surfboards in Hawaii. Here in Hawaii, a long habit of edge (or long plates) forms and hand-shaped boards short term were slightly increased.

Over there is a central place in Hawaii where most of the leading shapers do their job. There is a factory Surf Hawaii in Wahiawa, which manages a very high percentage of glassing surfboard. For those who do not know, this is a process where after surfboards are custom fit, they are "windows" with fiberglass and resin to give it the strength and the final seal of the board.

Anyway, this Hawaii Surf Factory in Wahiawa houses some of the shapers surfing surfboard most famous as Jeff Bushman, Dick Brewer, Mike Casey, Keoki, Tommy Tanaka, Glenn Minami, Mitsu Matsushita, Jon Pyzel, Cino, Dennis Pang, Jay Hodge Ben & AIPA. Each of these makers have their last orders during the coming months and during this economic crisis, we are very pleased but not surprised.

You see, the surf is a personal thing for everyone that does. For some it is a total spiritual commitment, which is central to their existence. Sailing is not a luxury or something you Tuck away in your closet, it's a lifestyle.

In my own opinion, why the surfboard industry custom Hawaiian is still growing because when the user arrives at this place in their life they want to order a custom board is a decision to improve their experience of surfing. It's personal and it is a prospect to feel good addition to your life that only a real user can understand.
