Favorite sport or sporting activity?

I need something at me and go for the spring weather. I've pretty much done no exercise since the end of last summer and it shows. I think I am an outdoor hobby. What is your favorite sport or sports hobby? why? Preferably something I can do myself because it is difficult to organize my friends a group of sports these days. They are willing to play basketball once or twice a month, but that's it.
