Is it OK for a conservative, solid pink (not hot pink) suit (a skirt) to wear to an interview?

I became a Mary Kay consultant and would really want to buy a pretty pink suit. I am also interested in getting a new full-time job and want the suit to serve a double purpose for that.

A pink would suit fine for certain types of interviews … like the jewelry counter, and can be mitigated with a dark solid color button-down. If you plan on getting a better job than your local mall …. let the pink home. You will notice in the wrong way.
