Silk Bamboo

My betta is afraid of seeing himself … on the tank walls. What should I do?

My tank is acrylic. It is two liters, and hexagonal. I bought it as my Betta, Fishie. Fishie all was fine yesterday, but today he kept getting close to a wall, he starts flaring. I have no other fish could he look so … IDK. He not swim a lot. I bought two silk plants, bamboo and one thing he could swim, but he does the "float" near the bottom. He is not as decorations, or is he is afraid to swim? Or .. Would he sick? He also does not seem too much on his food. I have two different brands of omega-TetraMin tropical flakes and betta buffet. They are both Flakey. Fishie usually swims to the top, put them in his mouth and spits them out. Occasionally, however, he will eat one or two very small flakes. Is he hungry? Am I give him? Or should I just the wrong food? Thanks for all your help. :]

He probably thinks that is a fish. That's all! It is normal for bettas to do this kind of thing! As the float near the bottom and not the decor, it is normal too! He's probably just afraid of his new surroundings. In due time he will swim through the scene happier than a dog with a bone! Do not worry! Fishie Good Luck! ^ _ *
