Sanda Mma

With so many martial arts where we often find ourselves wondering which of these arts is truly superior. The fact of the matter is not unique art can not really be regarded as superior, but some new hybrid of art can certainly make a valid claim to that title. San Shou is not like any other martial art combines two completely different art to create a combat system is quite extensive and can face a myriad of different circumstances.

Kickboxing is known as the art most striking well rounded martial because you have more weapons at your disposal in the form of your hands and feet. The only aspect of kickboxing that was sorely lacking in its ability to both Takedown an opponent and defend against takedowns. Enter Shuai-jiao also known that the fight Chinese. Wushu is the most popular form of kung-fu and Shuai-jiao is the most popular outlets in China. How these two arts complement each other because of you wonder why it took so long for them to be combined to form what is now called San Shou. The word means San Shou Sanda also spelled unrelated party and is a martial art that has been created to closely resemble a real confrontation. The fact of the matter is how you may start to and punch, but what happens if an attacker decides to seize you?

San Shou is the official self defense of the Chinese army, which is evidence of its effectiveness in combat without weapons. In 1991, the san shou has become an integral part of the world championships of wushu and began to popularize as a sport. The games involve a Lei Tai is an elevated platform like a sumo ring. The San Shou techniques consist of kicking, punching and takedowns. Chokeholds arm and locks have been omitted from the competition to keep fighting as lively as possible. The fact that San Shou addresses all ranges of combat (kicking, punching and grappling) makes the game real. The matches consist of two, two revolutions per minute and points are awarded for effective strikes and takedowns. It is unfair San Shou compared to any traditional martial art because it is much more striking and far more than just face.

Research a complete martial art must stop here. San Shou covers everything you need to know to survive an attack. The only thing that puzzles me about San Shou is its lack of popularity across the world. We have here a martial art that lets you punch, kick and grapple, yet the majority of our society has not heard. The fact is there are not many clubs in San Shou in North America, but if you happened to be one of lucky ones who does this martial art in your town, do yourself a favor and give it a try. You will not be disappointed!
