A busy year in 2009! Thank you to all the commitments of the Commonwealth Games of 2010 and various other projects like the construction of a subway Many migrant workers have been employed in various capacities. These workers usually come from internal states such as Bihar and West Bengal. They live on construction sites and make a living on a daily basis – working in different work environments risky and dangerous.

However, life is a sad tale. With no safety net around them they are like meteors entering the atmosphere from burning fire development fast paced. They take huge risks with their health and well-being, sometimes to the point of losing their lives in accidents that could have been easily avoided. They are brought here by contractors for labor cheap and then discarded without a second but when their life force is spent. Often, these workers die very young, barely in his thirties, from various diseases and respiratory problems.

Thus, how the contractors would shoot with that? Here are some reasons for how contractors get away with treating these workers as most of the New World slaves!

• Lack of a regulatory mechanism for their own employment terms. Although laws exist on paper, they are rarely verified implementation.
