running a half marathon in April and training should be?
I am running a half marathon in April and should have started training / execution. I exercise 3-5 days a week with strength training and kickboxing but it's the first time running in any race.
Its good you are cross training you will not get warn out. But start adding in some kilometers far. Wow, first running for 30-60 minutes a pace is comfortably hard. Keep pushing and will become a natural rhythm in about 2 weeks. Start running 3 times a week with a couple of days in the means. EX: Monday: 30 min run comfortably hard Tuesday: Cross train / weight or off Wednesday: 30 min run. comfortably drive (maybe a little faster) Thursday: long, 50-60 min (gradually up to 15 miles) Friday: off Saturday: 30-45 min run with some hills or in a skiing ground Sunday: Tren de la Cruz / weight, but definitely look at about 12 plans per week through marathons, because it helps too, about once a month and a half before the race should start as speed work. Fast-twitch things like tempo runs and longer intervals. then 2 weeks before you start doing things like 400 hours of repeats.
