Leather fingerless gloves are good for punching a punching bag?

Because I have leather fingerless gloves since I bought my punching bag. Sometime after I do a few rounds, my knuckles start to hurt and tear down part of the skin. I am really bad and can not afford boxing gloves. Should I stay or should I use some boxing gloves? Thanks in advance.

you fail to hand wraps so I'm assuming you do not wear one if you bag. always! wear hand wraps as your punching bag. knuckles if you tend to easily tear, more than packing up around the knuckles. then on your fingerless gloves and hand wraps you cannot afford then hit the sack softer – Are as simple as that otherwise get broken knuckles.
