Many times, elderly care begins in response to a crisis. A fall, injury, death of spouse, your parents now imposes caring for your relative or perhaps a parent. The chances are high that neither you nor your parent (s) have thought about how care will be funded.

Two: Contact the Social Security Administration to obtain an updated statement. Check the accuracy to be sure that your parent (s) receive all monies due to them.

Three: Make sure they have signed up for Medicare Part B and a complementary policy of insurance. This policy will cover the 20% that Medicare does not cover. For example, after a three-day visit to the hospital, Medicare will pay for 20 days in an institution of rehab. Insurance will pay additional for up to 80 additional days if necessary.

As an added precaution, the premium automatically deducted your parent (s) checking account. This Bill will ensure that the premium is not neglected, the policy is not canceled, and your parents will not assume additional costs and unnecessary.
