Physical Training

I seriously focus on meditation and creative visualization exercises lately. The display of positive discipline is fantastic achieving the objectives and one that I had grown apart, until very recently.
Back in my days of martial arts, I have taken much more seriously. Rehearsing moves and throws over and over in my mind proved almost as effective for training as time mat without deep bruising. Judo involves many tricky mechanics. I found that "see" the movements in my head eliminated the need to focus on tiny details. I would throw in my head and let fly.
My father was a competitive shooter most of his life. We shot together for a number of years in tournaments and skeet, and I looked up and consistently compete and win Dozens of pistol competitions. Repeat viewing My Dad's interior was so powerful, you can almost follow the movements he was in his head. He would mentally repeat the course every time before he signed loan or fired a single bullet. "Draw shoot two, turn move and shoot, both here and move around while loading, keep your head down …". When the action began, it was like if it followed a pattern pre-route running on a clear path.
There was so much research and evidence on positive effects of Creative visualization, it is surprising that this training method is so neglected. Elite athletes use it. Musicians from around the world, classifies marry. Top Achievers as Tony Robbins, Joe Vitale, Jack Nicklaus, Bruce Jenner and Michael Jordan have all testified that it a main reason for their success. Why are not you using the same techniques to achieve YOUR goals?
In one most well-known studies on creative visualization in sports, Russian scientists compared four groups of Olympic athletes in terms of their training schedules:
Group 1 = 100% physical training;
Group 2 – 75% physical training with 25% training mental;
Group 3 – 50% physical training with 50% of mental training;
Group 4 to 25% of physical training with 75% of training mental.
Group 4, with 75% of their time devoted to mental training, performed the best. "The Soviets had discovered that the images mental can act as a prelude to muscular impulses. "(http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Creative_visualization cite_note # -9)
So … Recently I did a lot of guided meditation and visualization exercises in an attempt to edit my inner reality. In spite of good role models and positive experiences, I struggled because I'm pretty well wound. I great imagination, but throughout life I have struggled to silence the doubters inside.
This internal critics ruins the fun. It's one thing to imagine success in detail. It's another to believe in this glorious mental picture. You must believe that success is as you imagine that your brain passive right to accept and commit to doing so.
Belief creates potential. Potential created action. Action produces results.
Here's what I learned. The key to effective results visualization is total relaxation. This is only way to make the positive message sent to your stick right brain.
I finally "got" the joke when I read an article about a boy with hemophilia who has been able to stop the bleeding by "going all mushy" and "see" his wounds heal. "Going all soft is something I understand, and it works.
Leverage a "slurry" of the state. Completely relax. Do not try to force the critical inner voice to shut up. Try instead to reach a state of waking dream, where you accept the image of your imagination appears as if they are real. Repeat success in your head. Hit the target perfectly every time. Use as much meaning as possible. This makes the scene as real for your right brain if it really happened. This creates belief, and increases your chances of success. Like my father, when the guns begin Blazing you to run quietly taking in the scene, success happens.
It feels like running on a familiar path.
