I get much good of the sport?
My heart rate base is between 60 and 66. I wear a pedometer to measured steps and walk about 3.4 km per day. Also use a HR monitor that beats record 100 to 106 per minute, while I'm walking. I am a healthy 55 years female
One mile walked on a flat, level surface for a person 150 pounds, about three miles per hour only burns 100 calories. Less than a candy bar size regular. I work in the gym every day and that's accourding to the tread mill. Just walking around in general will not cut off, if weight loss is the goal. If only a general health problem keep walking!
