Monkey Face
The Affenpinscher is a ancient breed, although its origins are not recorded. It was known in Germany in the seventeenth century and is regarded as race Foundation for the more familiar Brussels Griffon and perhaps also the Miniature Schnauzer. The American Kennel Club classifies the breed as a toy, but elsewhere it is considered as a terrier. The original work of the little imp hairy face is a task as traditional Terrier taker stable rats.
BODY TYPE:
Height: 10 inches (at shoulder) Weight: 7-8 pounds Ears erect and usually cropped to a point. Tail is docked and carried high.
PERSONALITY:
Loyal and devoted PAL. Tends to be a dog person. A mark of his blood terrier is the tendency for the Affenpinscher to become hyper excited. Headstrong and brave enough against any aggressor size. Carries itself with comic seriousness. Intelligent but not particularly easy to train. The Affenpinscher is a mind of its own.
DRESS:
Harsh wiry coat is short on the body, longer on head and legs. A mustache and beard final give the dog a monkey-face expression. Black is the favorite color but black with beige spots, red or gray, the mixtures are allowed. Moderate maintenance. Should not be bathed too often as it destroys the crunchy-haired feel of the dress.
TIPS:
Affe means monkey or monkey German. An excellent companion for those whose physical activity is limited. For its size, the Affenpinscher is a good watchdog. This breed is very rare to find a puppy may be difficult.
HEALTH ISSUES:
