Martial Art

If you are teaching children karate and your classes are becoming smaller, it is time to take a good long look at what you teach your children! The last thing you want is to lose your teaching job because nobody wants to attend your class! Here are the top 5 exercises and martial arts karate games that children will be mad and to keep them coming back for more!
1. CATCH your tail – This game is simple and focused on students very young. It encourages agility and speed and laughter. Choose two students, one at the head of a tiger in the tail. Take a karate belt and tie at the back of the belt of the "tail" of students. Set your watch for 30 seconds and the tiger head trying to catch his tail. I thought this was a favorite when teaching children karate.
2. THE CIRCLE OF DOOM – Get all children in a circle with everyone spread out with both arms stretched them far enough apart not to touch the child side them. Everyone moves into position to ride with hands hips, fists clenched.
The instructor is at the center of circle and search turns slowly to each child you cope. When you're ready to make an attack against one of the children, so they can make or against the block you've been taught.
Once the technique is finished move it to another kid on the outer circle and launch the same or a different attack so they can practice against. Do not choose your victims in any order, just look at random and choose approaching.
When first lesson, your attacks start slowly and tell them to start attacking the party you throw. Start with only 2-3 different attacks, such as children become more comfortable with this game, you can increase the number of attacks, speed and intensity contact you give and receive.
3. And Snake HORSE RELAY – Students form two equal teams of three or more. Departure and arrival lines are marked at 30-60 feet. The teams line up one behind another, spaced a couple feet away in a deep horse stance.
Students at the end of the line yelling "Snake", drops to the ground and crawls like a snake between the legs of others, until they are at the front of the line, they stand in a position horse deep and shouting "Horse" reported that students at the end of the line to do the same. Students continue to crawl up the line until all team crossed the finish line.
The first team to win more.
When teaching kids karate, it is important to remember the excited student will stay. So, lesson planning is the key to keeping and signing new students.
