Karate Pants

For many people, especially those who are not familiar with martial arts, the question often arises that the difference between karate and kung fu is. To watch somebody doing different movements, an untrained eye will find it hard to say that the style that this person does. Even those who are just beginning in May sometimes confused by the different styles for a new exhibition of them reveals how they are really different.
Historically, people living in the islands of Okinawa in southern Japan was exposed to Chinese martial arts because of the close proximity to China. Over time, Okinawa and the Japanese have developed their own styles now known as karate to the influence of original Chinese styles. Although both use many similar techniques, most kung fu styles have generally a greater variety of techniques from karate systems. It's almost rationalized as the Japanese, many Chinese technical systems to develop karate. The Japanese also modified the way techniques are executed in karate as they became more linear. This is particularly evident in the forms or katas (traditional sequence movements set), where karate techniques are performed with movements that have marked Crisp is stop and go motions.
In forms of kung fu movements involve the use of more circular techniques, particularly with the hands. These circular motions give these forms a more visually graceful techniques that seem to flow from one to another. There is less stop and go with most Chinese styles. This is why some martial artists, especially in North America, often refer to the kung-fu as 'soft' styles while karate and tae kwon do are "hard" styles. This does not mean that hard styles such as karate or tae kwon do are more powerful martial arts styles as sweet. The term "soft" is somewhat misleading because the power of circular motion is often hidden. Circular motion can generate just as much power as linear found in hard styles. Most forms of kung fu are also generally more complex and longer duration than most karate forms. For most, a form of soft style is much more exotic while a form of karate be more direct in terms of technology. Interestingly, there are styles such as karate Goju who do not have a lot of circular techniques. Kempo styles are considered as a hybrid of Chinese techniques and Okinawa with both circular and linear techniques. There are also many more different models of kung fu karate cons.
Martial arts weapons can be found in both kung fu and karate styles but different sets of weapons are used in each system. Just as with bare hands, the kata with karate weapons are also more linear compared to those who have weapons of kung fu have more circular movements. As expected, there is a lot more variety of weapons in various Chinese styles of Japanese karate.
Traditionally, followers of karate wear a white uniform called a GI includes the kimono that overlap, like a top. Less traditional schools like those in North America allow colored uniforms. A colored belt will be the finishing touch to IM with course black belt for those ranking Instructor. The Most of the time and especially inside a dojo studio, karate stylists will not wear shoes during training. Most designers kung fu wear very different uniform tops Chinese frog "style buttons rather than overlapping fronts like the karate gi top. The uniforms can be black or a variety of colors with often lighter fabrics such as satin and shoes are usually worn. Acrobatics Modern Chinese martial arts of wushu can be made in satin uniforms with many different colors. Many schools of kung-fu just use t-shirts and baggy pants as uniforms. Scarves Satin color are often worn to signify rank students, but it is actually more of a North American style Like most schools of Chinese martial arts in Asia will show the classification is not uniform.
Overall, there is a greater variety of techniques, styles, weapons and uniforms found in the systems of Chinese kung fu compared to karate. However, this does not mean that a system or style martial art is superior to another. They are simply different and the observer, it might become your personal preferences. Some prefer kung fu and some prefer karate. Some ambitious martial artists who aspire to complete a well rounded education the two styles.
