Karate Pads

There are about four years, we start using the Bogu during our kumite (sparring practice). This method was developed in Okinawa then found its way into mainland Japan and eventually the United States where only a few clubs still do this. And even in those clubs, only a few members of the do. I know there are other devices out there that looks like, and I used most of what is available. But you do not provide roughly the same overall effect is that the bugs. Rules Bogu Training – Any punch, any action, except Stomps foot, strikes to the spine and back of neck. Shots and free leg is certainly allowed. Use, dare I say, your common sense.

What is coaching?

When you fight, you just go and beat the heck out of each other. This is the point. Of course, you want to get this "One Shot One Kill, "but you have to train in a way that prepares you to reality. If you train to stop after the first photo, you're developing a habit that will come back to haunt you. You train three techniques still to come.

Immediately you'll find what works and what does not. Depending on the drill, sometimes we do tours, sometimes 10 rounds a second. There is a little stalking, but when you go, it's like two freight trains Smashing into each other. You hit, you hit, you shut up, knee and you throw great stuff. One of the first things you notice is that when you kick or punch hard surfaces of the Bogu-it hurts. A body feels like a feather bed over a bug. But after a while, it does not hurt. Then you can start to run very little lead!

You'll also see that Strikes have an effect and those who do not. If you can back a guy up with the bug or ring on his bell a bit, it's probably a good shooting. If you graze it, it keeps coming and we must continue the fight.

The bug also teaches you to keep fighting! Lesser equipment you will slow down and stop when things get critical. Or stop when someone scores a point. Mark a point does not mean that the battle has ended. This is a symbolic representation thereof. This is not literal.

Wearing Bogu lets you take the trouble without being seriously injured-save fat lip, sore legs, fingers, toes or aching jaw. You get used to the shock of being hit. This will allow function in this hostile environment of combat and you will absorb as much damage as possible. I have seen people develop other things that allow you to feel anything. This is not really good either. It removes the risk factor and all you have is two supermen running another with any fear of pain. Plus it removes the element body conditioning. As always, be cautious and work to a level you can handle. When you start with people who have not done before taking a little easier for them to get used to it. After a couple of time, then you can Blast 'em.

Men (Head Piece) of the bug is very claustrophobic. This is a great way to reproduce the effect of reduced vision and frustration you feel when you're stress hormone action. Do not tell me about something for the MACHO or Shureido-unless it's got the grill is not cutting it.

The head piece also provides neck and chin protection that face modern unexploded. Again, the plastron is hard. This is important to develop the power and the status of your arms.

Can you tell who wins and who loses? Well, if the guy quits, you win. If you quit, you lose. But this is not the issue. IS THE TRAINING. It is the right to fight as you want, the effect comprehensive training not winning a match. Of course there are rules of the tournament, but will force you to stop when you should fight! It is the feeling the fight, the punishment and the impact that counts. It is on the limits of the Bogu. Just the simple fact that your training partner no longer face and is replaced by samurai hell is worth the price of admission.

Is it cheap, no, but you appreciate the proper training or do you want to use this crap dipped foam. It's up to you. This thing will last you a lifetime. If you can Sucker I want to convince some people to invest – take the plunge. Get the traditional "Do" and "Tare", a pair of gloves grappling good cup, knee pads, good old white, cheap shin and instep pads and a hachi maki or a bandana. You not need a mouthpiece, the bug will keep you mouth closed. I do not think Bogu bag knows that I am recommending the link, but it's really good.
