Instep Guards
Pressure points are not scientific and anatomical locations. They are areas of the body that are particularly prone to incapacitating pain or injury. Some appear obvious and are guarded so well in general. While dark locations can be a complete surprise to the attacker, which is always a bonus.
Various People respond differently to pain stimulus. If the attacker is with alcohol or drugs, their sensitivity to pain may be dull, either. So it is hard to imagine what To evaluate the nature of response you get. Therefore, it is appropriate to use as much force as you can muster when dealing with these areas. Although it is not necessary is to prevent violations of the attacker, sometimes all we need is enough to convince him to be made a spirited defense and will not stand Victims.
Sometimes all you need is an appropriate surprise and / or inflicting pain to cause him to lose his grip on you, so that you can escape. Sometimes an injury causes is justified to keep chasing him from you too.
Let me dispel a few myths for you. It is no secret spot on the body that, when pressure leads instant unconsciousness. Apparently this only happens on Star Trek. Secondly, you can not immediately kill someone with a ride up the nose into her brain. They will hurt them, but it does not cause instant death.
Some of the pressure points are:
- Temple area
- Eyes
- Ears
- Nose
- Throat
- Elbow
- Wrist
- Hands
- Collarbone
- Solar Plexis
- Ribs
- Between the shoulder blades
- Kidneys
- Groin
- Upper Austria Inner Thigh
- Knee
- Shin
- Rist
- Achilles Tendon
This is by no means a complete list, sometimes it just depends on what is within the range available.
Parts of the body that you take:
- Fist
- Knuckles
- Knife Hand
- Palm Strike
- Elbow
- Knee
- Feet
The fingers are good for eye-gouging, and pinching. The back of the head can (so the front can head butt, but less likely to cause damage). Elbows are a favorite of mine, they can forward or backward are used), it supports can be strengthened by the associated clutched fist with your other hand (elbow strike.
Awareness of Pressure points should plan an integral part of any self-defense.
