Healthy Eyes Are Sexy Eyes

Are “bedroom eyes” sexy or healthy? The answer is, they’re both. In order to have sexy eyes you have to have healthy eyes. The good news is, you can not only have healthy and sexy eyes, but you can keep them that way. When you’re doddering down the street with your cane, those eyes are still going to be turning heads.

There’s a diet out there today for every problem you could ever have. The nail strengthening diet, the great hair diet, the clean your colon diet, the belly fat diet, etc. The great news is, there is one diet that will accomplish all of this and has an added benefit. It keeps your eyes healthy as well as the rest of your body. I know you want to ditch all those other diets and try this one, right?

Can we function without our eyesight? Of course. Would we like to function without our eyesight? Of course not. Taking your eyes for granted puts you at risk of doing just that somewhere down the road. There is a way to take better care of your eyesight and keep your vision healthy forever.

Mother knows best. She told us to eat our carrots so we could see in the dark. She knew what she was talking about. Carrots and other orange vegetables contain beta-carotene, which converts to Vitamin A in our bodies and enhances visual acuity. Our eyes are better able to adjust to light changes such as daylight to darkness. If you didn’t mind your mom, you better start if you want to see after dark.

Do you absolutely hate leafy green vegetables? If so, that means that spinach, kale and collard greens are not in a prominent spot on your grocery list. But, did you know that these green vegetables contain lutein? Lutein can help prevent cataracts and macular degeneration.

If you can’t make yourself eat green leafy vegetables, then tomatoes, carrots, red peppers, and squash are also high in the nutrient lutein. Now, there has to be something in that list that you like. I can make the whole list sound delicious by telling you that green algae can also be used to treat degenerative sight problems. Makes spinach and kale sound good, doesn’t it.
