How can I learn to use a gym weights?
How did you guys learn to use weights in the gym? I mean really want to work out, but I feel so intimidated and a bit of a joke because I do not know what I'm doing. Is there any way I can learn?
You should not feel intimidated. Everyone must start somewhere, so do not worry anymore. Make sure that when used for the first time I have an idea of what is comfortable and what more weight than better. Do not over do it or you'll hurt yourself. If you want to build, test heavier weights. Make 3-5 1-5 repetions. If you is looking for the tone and just get in shape and be treated for 3-5 series of 9-12 repetions or 3-5 sets of 6-8 reps with light weight. Search youtube.com for 'exercises free weights, and you should get plenty of exercise in several stages. Good to start with are bicep curls, squats with dumbells, one arm dumbell extensions shrugs, lateral raises and seated rows. Try to break the muscle groups and in groups. So maybe one day to the shoulder and back exercises, weapons do next, then the chest and abdomen. If you want to try leg resistance machines.
