What is the problem if my tendon is popping out on my leg and wrist pain and numbness?

I injured my wrist a few years back while playing racquetball. This loss is maintained, regardless of periods of inactivity. The tendon that runs on the outside of my right jumps on my wrist bone on the outside of my hand. If I lift something serious when this happens, it is very painful and forcing my grip go weak. Even if I sports, play or participate in heavy lifting, my wrist is painful for many days. I am ready to do what must be done to determine this condition. Can anyone tell me what condition it is, or give me some insight before I go a specialist?

I have the same problem on and off. My doctor (through the training of a sports med doc, and he happens to be a team doc for the super bowl champ ) referred to my problem as a "slipped tendon." He gave me a splint (sort of strap-on, removable cast) to wear on the wrist during use. Your grip should be a sign of weakening nerve entrapment are (similar to carpal tunnel syndrome). This part you would like to have it checked by a neurologist. Hope your better!
