I bought a sketch at a flea market, how do I find out if the original and what it worth?

I bought a sketch at a flea market, it seems original ink on paper, signed "David Tzur, Israel 1966" (the "U" is written in a "V" shape). Although the mat in a beautiful setting, The paper is drawn appears to be folded or rolled, and there is a small patch on the right. I paid $ 15 for. How do I find out if the original? How do I know what it worth? How do I find more information about the artist? A Google search shows that he is a concentration camp survivor who emigrated to Israel, then taught art, but not much else is available on the Internet.

You may make an art appraiser / dealer. Find one in the yellow pages, or visit a local museum. Make sure you tell The person who assesses that you are not interested in selling it (even if you are). If they think you might sell to them, they will tell you that worth less than it is. Do not compromise on the first advice you receive. Ask around, get as much as you can. Then you do your best to sift through the waste and find the truth. At least they should be able to tell you how old it is, that can give you an idea of the original. Good luck!
