Great fitness equipment for anyone with limited space?

I would like to invest in some fitness equipment, but I do not have much room to store anything … I love to ride a bike in the summer and one for the trainer to mount in the winter, but thats all I can think of that I can easily save … (bike outside, trainer in a closet or something until I am ready to use it) I've seen a commercial, and when I think rightly, the Bowflex TreadClimber, which is collapsed for easier Storage … I would like to one of these, but certainly not in my price range at this point in my life … Has anyone any experience with a good, effective exercise equipment not take much space? Well, I live in a small town and have to drive 45 minutes to go to a gym … I just want to use something besides a good cardio treadmill …

I have bad experiences with equipment that is lightweight and folds. Foldable elliptical and Stairmaster usually very unstable and shaking. There are few really good ellipticals that small and stable, but they are very expensive. My advice would be to a stationary bicycle. You can use one for $ 20-30 on Craigslist or a new Wal-Mart for $ 80 – $ 120. Since The base does not move when you are out, they were very stable. You may need a padded seat cover but who are not too expensive, they are about $ 20. The new models are very light and easy to get your move.If one where you can collapse the handles, you can save the original box in a closet or under your bed.
