Fitness Medicine

During a casual chat with a dentist friend, we had a difference of opinion about the efficiencies of Western medicine and Chinese medicine Traditional (or "TCM" as it is more popularly known). Neither can she agree to my suggestion that the Chinese as studies astrology Bazi (or 4 Pillars) and Zi Wei Dou Shu (ZWDS) are useful in maintaining good health.
For most people, Western medicine is scientific, more widely accepted and is part of the main flow tools to health and wellness. Therefore, the de facto choice for them. Although I have the greatest respect for the advancement of Western medicine have done to date, I have encountered cases that makes me fairly confident that the MTC is the choice superior to Western medicine when it comes to achieving good health. I say TCM is more effective to keep people in the pink of health while Western medicine is best to treat sick people. When people are seriously ill, of course, Western medicine is the best treatment options.
What is my reason to conclude that? Western medicine treats the symptoms but do not address the root problem. For a person who suffers from headaches, they usually prescribe painkillers, but is far from addressing the real cause of headaches. When a patient has fever, sometimes they ask the patient to soak in cold water or remain in the cold air conditioned rooms in the fight against the temperature increases. Supporter Western medicine Challenge May I say why make a fuss when the disease is "cured". I would say the symptoms may be cured but the root cause of the disease was only moderate. The result of what a constitution is weaker health in the long term.
TCM is very different because it aims to identify gaps in underlying health. TCM recognize that the body consists of organs, which are all interrelated and yin & yang composition determines how energy flows within the organs of the body. TCM is therefore entitled to the root of the problem of health instead of treating only the symptoms. Rome was not built in a day, and neither should we expect from our health problems to be completely cured by a practitioner of traditional Chinese medicine in a short period of time. For those who have developed at a critical stage of the disease end, I plead again they rely on Western medicine as a remedy in the short term but use TCM as a solution in the longer term decline.
When does Bazi and ZWDS come into game? They hold the key to a comprehensive diagnosis of health problems and prescription. I am a firm believer in the adage 'better Prevention is the cure. "Bazi and ZWDS be able to identify deficiencies and health problems associated with a medical person even before the symptoms or disease sets in. They can also help identify aspects of Fengshui home or to the environment than the person saw in this desire to prevent diseases such as setting in. An understanding of Bazi and ZWDS also holds the key to prescribing a cure. Because the patient may not able to explain the medical problem clearly enough and effective treatment can be achieved when the practitioner Traditional Chinese medicine includes how the energy flows within the bodies and their predisposition Yin & Yang.
Critics may still pretend that I'm fanatical cons Western Medicine. In my next article I will share some examples of how Western medicine failed or how TCM understanding of Bazi + / ZWDS cured a problem that has not been resolved satisfactorily by Western Medicine.
