Chun Kung

There are many styles of Kung Fu in South China, which have their origins in the mists of time. Many of these arts are developed through a thorough different animals and imitating their movements and therefore strategies. It was a fashionable idea in Chinese thought, probably because the influence of "Taoism" who believed in the importance of observation of nature and its operations as a way to get an overview the workings of the universe and me.
A relative reached in this group of combat techniques was Wing Chun Kuen (broadly translated means "spring beautiful "and" Fist fighting style "), which was perhaps the name of a woman known as" Yim Wing Chun. There are many variants and stories about the exact basis of art. It is more commonly known simply as "Wing Chun" and is probably one of the most widely taught and known styles of kung fu in the world.
The philosophy behind the art is that of force opposing the force or strength team meeting and a mixture of both "hard" and elements of several elements softer movement and avoidance techniques. It is Perhaps a softer style in its design, (Wing Chun Kuen studied under a Buddhist nun called Ng Mui), but may become more difficult to over time because of influences of men and additions.
The original techniques were thought to have sprung from observations of Ng Mui and fascination a fight between a crane and a snake. In watching these two fight each other to death has been the inspiration for his style of movement and combat. Already a master of "Siu Lam Kung Fu" (named after the monastery where she lived), Ng Mui developed Wing Chun properly after escaping destruction of the monastery by the Manchu government. Some monks have survived the attack and this may have given impetus to this new style that more focused on winning at any cost and speed of delivery and the subtle techniques that could be used by anyone. The style has been effective to offset any natural advantage an adversary may be the size of the inherent strength.
Unlike other styles of kung fu that depend significantly in muscle strength and total flexibility and hardening of bones and packaging techniques Wing Chun focuses more on explosive movements and natural weapons as part of the body such as elbows and fingers for striking and biting.
The benefits of study Modern Wing Chun are numerous. You will develop better posture and balance, better flexibility and freedom of movement along with self-discipline Physical and confidence that comes from knowing a powerful martial art.
