If I am a new fishing lake first thing I do when the boat goes in the water is to check the clarity. How far can I see who make a difference on this lure that I use and how I fish the bait particular. I then scan the shoreline and see if there are points which juts in the lake, perhaps a narrow or where a stream enters the lake. Bass love hanging out at these locations. Then, as I start fishing I always keep an eye on the lower structures such as trees or submerged stem erect above water, I want to start a law Spinner Bait along the length of all newspapers, I see and maybe a plastic worm in the middle of the stem.
