Blue Large

Here is an easy chili recipe that is tasty enough, you can add more spices according to your preference. Try adding salsa to the mixture.

• 1 large onion, finely chopped
• 1 clove garlic, peeled and crushed
• 2 tablespoons Coffee tomato paste
• 2 tablespoons butter cut into pieces
• 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
• 1 teaspoon dried oregano, crushed
• 1 / 2 teaspoon ground cumin
• 1 1 / 2 c. Tea chili powder
• 1 (14.5 oz) whole peeled tomatoes with liquid, chopped
• 1 pound lean beef
• 1 (15.25 ounces) kidney beans, rinsed and drained
• Salt and pepper to taste

Directions

1. In a large saucepan, combine onion, garlic and tomato paste, cover and cook over medium heat for 5 minutes.
2. Stir in butter and stir until completely melted.
3. Stir in flour, oregano, cumin, chili powder, tomatoes and beef. Cook uncovered for 8 minutes, stirring occasionally.
4. Add beans and cook for 4 minutes, stirring occasionally. Salt and pepper to taste.

• 2 tablespoons dried oregano
• 2 sticks cinnamon
• 6 whole cloves
• 2 (15.25 ounces) cans kidney beans, rinsed and drained

Directions

1. In medium saucepan, heat oil over medium heat. Add onion, pepper and garlic; © jumped until tender. Add in ground beef. Cook until meat is brown, stirring occasionally.
2. Add tomatoes with liquid, salt, pepper, cumin, chili powder, paprika, oregano, cinnamon sticks and cloves. Cover and simmer 45 minutes.
3. Stir in beans and cook another 15 minutes. Remove cinnamon sticks before serving.
