Thera Band / resistance band?

I am a dancer and am looking to strengthen my ankles and feet. I heard that the Theraband would help. I'm not sure what color to get or even what brand. Can someone explain all this to me? Thank you!

I'm also a ballet dancer:) and I use a Theraband all the time, they are really great for not only strengthening your feet, but your arms too! Now, the strength you get depends on how strong your feet are and how strong you want them to be. To you could start by becoming a weaker and work your way up, if you goes by changing the strength of the band as your feet get stronger. Or you could jump into a middle the range of force appropriate to the average person if you think your feet are okay, but you want them stronger, or you could do what I did-starting with the strongest I could find: P The colors and strengths proceed as follows: Yellow – thin. Red-medium. Green-heavy (or medium depending on which brand you). Blue-heavyweight. Black-special heavy (this is what I have to you really feel working your feet). I'm not so sure about names, because I live in New Zealand so perhaps our brands are different to yours, but I went to my local sports to store and hope you choose. Or would you remove them from the pharmacy, they have them in large rolls, which ever way you cut how long you want it and continue to replace it soon getting a little warn down, but you would want to do once you know what suits you strength. I hope this helps:) PS: there are heaps of websites that have information about them and what exercises should you do to help strengthen your feet. Good luck: D xo
